UNICollaboration Conference is now IVEC<\/h3>\n

Starting in 2014, UNICollaboration has organised three international conferences on telecollaboration and virtual exchange every other year. These conferences<\/a> were hosted by the University of Le\u00f3n (2014), Trinity College Dublin (2016) and the Pedagogical University in\u00a0Krakow, Poland (2018).<\/p>\n

In\u00a0order to create a stronger community for virtual exchange and to increase interdisciplinarity, UNICollaboration and several US Universities have now come together to create the International Virtual Exchange Conference<\/a>, or IVEC with the goal of holding a conference in odd years in the United States, and in even years in Europe. This means that the former UNICollaboration conference has now merged with IVEC.<\/p>\n

The first IVEC was hosted by the University of Washington on October 25-26, 2019 and welcomed over 350 attendees from 28 countries around the world.<\/p>\n

IVEC 2020 was hosted by Newcastle University in the UK. Due to Covid-19, it was held fully online. More than 300 colleagues participated in the event. More information can be found at the IVEC website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
