The goal is to expand the reach and scope of the Erasmus+ programme via Virtual Exchange, that is: technology-enabled, sustained, people-to-people dialogues which use new media platforms.<\/p>\n<p>We are particularly keen to engage youth organisations in this project through non-formal education opportunities. Participation in all the activities will be recognised through open badges and certificates<\/p>\n<p>There are several activities advertised on the <a href=\"https:\/\/europa.eu\/youth\/erasmusvirtual_en\">European Youth Portal\u2019s Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange<\/a> page which are relevant to youth organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/unicollaboration.webhosting.rug.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Youth-organisations-get-involved-2.pdf\">here<\/a> to download a .pdf with information about how to get involved.<\/p>\n<h2>Training to Develop an Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange Project for Youth<\/h2>\n<p>If your organisation already collaborates with international partners in projects, you could enhance this activity by developing a Transnational Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange Project (TEP) of your own. The TEP would be designed to involve young people in your partner organizations in some non-formal educational activity either online or at your centres, and have them participate in small-group online dialogues with their distant partners under the guidance of trained Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange facilitators. Erasmus+ offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Free online training for you and your partners where you will learn more about Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange and design your TEP;<\/li>\n<li>Recognition of this training with open badges;<\/li>\n<li>Mentoring throughout the design and implementation of the TEP;<\/li>\n<li>A secure online platform for the implementation of your exchange;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitated synchronous dialogue sessions led by qualified Erasmus+ facilitators, on a synchronous video platform promoted by Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange.<\/li>\n<li>Recognition of youth participants\u2019 engagement in the project with Open Badges and Certificates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in learning more about opportunities for training to develop a Virtual Exchange project please fill out a form <a href=\"https:\/\/europa.eu\/youth\/erasmusvirtual\/expression-interest-training-develop-virtual-exchange-projects_en\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u00ad\u00ad\u00adOnline Facilitated Dialogue<\/h2>\n<p>If your organisation offers training to young people who go to their centre, Online Facilitated Dialogue can give them the opportunity to gain employability skills. It is a 5-week programme which allows youth to develop their English (or French or Arabic), online communication skills, and digital literacies such as creating infographics and digital awareness campaigns about the themes of poverty and migration. This opportunity is free for youth in Europe and Southern Mediterranean countries. You will then be contacted about how to get the youth you work with involved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Facilitation Training for Youth Workers<\/h2>\n<p>Over the course of 2018, a highly qualified community of online facilitators will be created as young people participate in the Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange training for online facilitation and then facilitate in various models of Virtual Exchange.
