Instructions:
Students work with their partners over a 2 week period to prepare a presentation on a topic of their choice. The topic should have an intercultural theme – wedding ceremonies in Spain and Germany, advertising strategies in French and American television. When the presentation is ready, each set of students presents the presentation to their local class.
The students collaborate online to create a presentation for their class in their own institutions on PowerPoint or another presentation tool such as Prezi. They may also distribute handouts to the class.
Task Aims
In this task students will have the opportunity to:
· write collaboratively with students from other countries,
· produce a product through research and teamwork,
· improve your speaking skills in English,
· improve your academic writing skills in English,
